La orientación con enfoque de género: derechos sexuales en familias de niños de infancia preescolar/Gender-focused guidance: sexual rights in families of preschool children
Abstract
Introduction: Guidance constitutes a process of help or assistance to promote the development of personological mechanisms through reflection, awareness and the involvement of families, for a better management of sexuality with a focus on gender and sexual rights.
Objective: Develop an educational strategy that contributes to raising the level of orientation of the families of preschool children for the development of sexuality with a focus on gender and sexual rights.
Methods: A predominantly quantitative research strategy was followed, at an explanatory level, applying different methods at the theoretical, empirical, mathematical and/or statistical level: analysis and synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical, transition from the abstract to the concrete, the scientific observation, survey, interview, experiment, expert criteria and descriptive statistics.
Results: The actions established in each of the stages of the educational strategy are highlighted as an element of change within the scientific result.
Conclusions: It is concluded that the validity, quality and relevance of the educational strategy was corroborated through the expert criterion method, taking into account the suggestions provided by them. The pre-experiment made it possible to evaluate the level of orientation of the families of preschool children for the development of sexuality with a focus on gender and sexual rights in the “Little Camarades” Children's Circle.
