About the Journal
Márgenes is a journal addressing topics related with local development and sustainability. It is a multi-thematic publication which, since its creation in 2013, was conceived as a non-for-profit quarterly publication issued mostly in Spanish language and with a double-blind peer review system. Its edition is digital with Open Access, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives license for its use and distribution. The visibility of its content is facilitated through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.
Márgenes is aimed at all professors and researchers in the country and abroad, as well as students researching in the different areas of knowledge such as: social and humanistic sciences, agriculture and veterinary, technical and applied sciences, economics and accounting, in addition to pedagogical and physical culture sciences. It presents various types of scientific articles (original research, bibliographic review, mini-reviews, essays, brief reports and letters to de editor) which can be obtained in full text, after free registration, in various formats (PDF, HTML, XML, EPUB).
Its publication has been uninterrupted since July 2013 with scientific articles of various typologies and with the presence of special issues. The journal was registered on May 23, 2017 in the National Registry of Serial Publications under the number 2460, Folio 221, Volume III. Furthermore, on June 4, 2019 the ISSN: 2664-2190 was assigned. On March 12, 2020 it was indexed in the ERIHPLUS database.
It is included in different academic networks like Google Scholar, Mendeley, Academia.edu; in professional networks as Linkedin and social networks such as Facebook; and in academic directories such as LatinRev, REDIB, Latindex (with folio: 28912).
