THE PASHA OF BIRTHRATE WITH SANCTI SPIRITUS AND HIS IMPACT IN THE SPORTING INITIATION

Abstract

Sancti Spíritus is one of the oldest provinces in the country, motivated among other causes by the low birth rate that has been occurring for more than 30 years, this decrease in the child population impacts on educational and sports services at school age, therefore, It is necessary to minimize these effects and, consequently, we set ourselves the objective of proposing a set of pedagogical actions to enhance the preparation of sports teachers in order to face the impacts of the decrease in child birth rates on sports initiation. To fulfill this objective, the methods of the theoretical level were used (Historical-logical, Analysis and synthesis, Systemic-structural approach), while at the empirical level, the Analysis of documents, Interviews, the Survey were used. The data was processed through percentage analysis. 38 teachers who act 45 % of the population were polled from the city of Sancti Spíritus, linked to sports initiation. The design and implementation of the set of pedagogical actions will in the long term constitute a valuable tool to guarantee the continuity of sports initiation in this entity, generalizable to the entire province. It was found that the actions designed, although they do not solve the birth problem, allow to alleviate its impact on the initiation of school sports in the territory.
