ACTIONS TO STRENGTHEN THE RESEARCH COMPONENT IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING FROM THE MUNICIPAL UNIVERSITY CENTER

Abstract

Cuba advocates for the training of professionals who can solve problems scientifically, creatively, with knowledge, skills, values ​​and attitudes, in correspondence with the socialist social project and the demands of today's world. This article aims to disseminate actions to promote the investigative component in professional training from the municipal university center, with emphasis on the need to attend to the processes and relationships that take place in the territories, in that university-society link, framed in the issue of entrepreneurship and institutional strengthening. The research was developed with 68 students of the Socio Cultural Management career of the Municipal University Center of Remedios, Province of Villa Clara, Cuba. The methodological path was qualitative. The methodology used was research-action-participation, because the authors, in different roles, are participants in the processes that were studied. A set of theoretical and empirical methods were used in dialectical unity such as the analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, bibliographic review, interview, observation, the results were structured in determining the theoretical foundations, in integrative actions, with a multi-actor character, which intentionally contributes to competent professional performance, allowing the reconciliation of interests in correspondence with the Municipal Development Strategy. It was verified that if the investigative component is promoted with actions that integrate the work of the Municipal University Center, the pedagogical group, students, with the institutions of the territory, it contributes to the strengthening of local capacities, and progress is made in the same direction based on goals. common.
