METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGY FROM THE TRAINING PROCESS OF THE HYGIENE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY RESIDENT.

Abstract

Introduction: The ethical mode of action in the postgraduate training process of the Hygiene and Epidemiology specialist is decisive to improve health processes from their professional performance, therefore, the objective is to develop a methodological strategy aimed at improving the ethical mode of action of the resident of the Hygiene and Epidemiology specialty.

Methods: A predominantly quantitative research strategy was followed, at an explanatory level, applying different methods at the theoretical, empirical, mathematical and/or statistical levels: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, historical and logical, transition from the abstract to the concrete, scientific observation, interview, experiment, expert criteria and descriptive statistics. As a result, the actions established in each of the stages of the strategy are highlighted as an element of change within the scientific result. It is concluded that the validity of the strategy was corroborated through the criteria of experts, where they stated that it is very adequate, and in educational practice, through the development of a pre-experiment with residents of the Hygiene and Epidemiology specialty, where it was demonstrated that their ethical mode of action is improved.
