Abstract
ABSTRACT
Introduction: The materialization of the III improvement carried out in the Ministry of Education in Cuba, has established in Technical and Professional Education, among the prioritized actions the prevention of drug addiction from the very dynamics of the educational model.
Objective: To propose a methodology that contributes to the educational work for the prevention of drug addiction from the pedagogical process of Technical and Professional Education.
Methods: Participatory action research, in-depth sessions, documentary analysis, scientific observation, interviews and methodological triangulation.
Results: A methodology made up of two apparatuses; theoretical-cognitive and methodological-instrumental, in addition to categories, concepts, requirements, procedures, actions and implementation guidelines.
Conclusions: The methodology contributes to the theory of the construct of educational work for the prevention of drug addiction in Technical and Professional Education; in addition, the precision of the technical-professional contents that enrich the Educational Program (MINED, 2019) from the conceptual theoretical apparatus. Scientific novelty is distinguished by the presence of theoretical concepts related to educational work for the prevention of drug addiction based on procedures and actions that, materialized in a methodology, enable the coherent action of teachers of Technical and Professional Education.
